FAQs
How does it work?
We'll pay you an agreed monthly rent each month from us, regardless of whether there is anybody in the property or not, and even if our tenant doesn't pay. Click here to get in touch with any questions.

Where do you cover?
We cover all of Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Milton Keynes and Northampton. If you have properties further afield then please get in touch and we will review.
Is RentAssured an insurance policy?
No. RentAssured is not an insurance policy.

We lease properties directly from landlords under a written agreement and become your tenant for the agreed term. Rent is paid by us in line with the contract, regardless of occupancy.

The guaranteed rent comes from the contractual arrangement, not from an insurance product.

How is my property looked after?
We facilitate regular inspections and cleans to ensure the property is up to a high standard for our staying clients, so you can rest easy knowing we’re managing your property responsibly throughout the agreement.
Where appropriate, we may suggest light cosmetic improvements, subject to agreement, to help maintain the property’s overall condition.

In the event that larger maintenance items arise, we can coordinate everything on your behalf, obtain quotes for approval, and manage the works through to completion.

In the unlikely event that one of our 'staying clients' causes damage beyond fair wear and tear, we would take responsibility for putting this right, in line with the terms of the agreement.
Who stays in the property?
Properties are typically used by working professionals or contractors staying for short to medium-term periods.

Client types can vary, but we do not operate party lets and we manage all bookings to ensure the property is used responsibly and in line with the agreed terms.
Does the Renters’ Rights Act apply if I let to RentAssured?
Our agreements fall outside the scope of the Renters’ Rights Act.
We lease properties as a company under a fixed contractual agreement and become the tenant for the agreed term. The Act applies to residential tenancies granted to individuals, not to company lets of this nature.
For landlords concerned about the impact of Renters' Rights legislation, this structure provides certainty over rent, term length, and exit.
Who manages the property day to day?
Once the agreement is in place, we manage the property day to day and act as your point of contact during the agreed term so landlords are not involved in daily management.
